Crystal Care Guide
CAUTION!! Before you begin, research your Crystal/Mineral: Some crystals/minerals are water sensitive and will get damaged and/or dissolve in water. For example, if it ends in ITE, by all means do not expose it to water. We recommend using a soft make up brush (like a blush or foundation brush) to gently remove dust and debris off the surface of your crystal/mineral instead of immersing in water or using a wet method.
- Gentle Cleaning: Clean your crystals and minerals with lukewarm water and a soft cloth or brush. Avoid using soap, as some stones can be sensitive to chemicals.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, ammonia, or other harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the surface of your crystals.
- Drying: After cleaning, gently pat the stones dry with a soft cloth. Do not expose them to direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause some crystals to fade.
- Storage: Store your crystals in a cool, dry place. Keep them away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use soft pouches or padded containers to prevent scratches and chips.
- Handling: Handle your crystals with clean hands. Oils and dirt from your skin can transfer to the crystals and minerals, affecting their appearance and energy.
- Charging and Cleansing: Periodically cleanse your crystals' energy by placing them under moonlight, using smudging techniques, or placing them on a bed of cleansing stones like selenite or quartz.
By following these tips, you can ensure your crystals and minerals stay beautiful and vibrant for years to come!
